The "Coat of Many colors" is designed based on a traditional Appalachian ribbed-style working basket.

Featuring a natural vine rim, techniques will include cutting and inserting ribs, learning basic weaving strokes, overlapping reed and filling in spaces.

The finished basket measures 10” – 12” across, 3”-4” tall.

The class is suitable for all skill levels.

Beth Allman has been weaving for over 40 years. Largely self-taught, she loves the interplay of color and incorporating natural elements into her weaving.

“I am drawn to making utilitarian items that are beautiful and useful. But most of all I love sharing the craft.”

Beth Allman lives in Quincy, Florida, with a yard full of exciting vines and saplings.
